Scamadviser.com is an online algorithm that determines the likelihood of a website being either legit or a scam. More than 100,000 consumers check Scamadviser.com each day and its database grows with more than 1 million websites monthly.
Nigeria is often blamed as being a source of scams. However, its own inhabitants suffer as much from online fraud as anybody. Scamadviser will support CyberSafe’s mission by offering its employees access to its Scam Analyser to investigate scam networks.
CyberSafe will help Scamadviser to improve its algorithm to identify scams. Together they hope to make Nigerian consumers more aware of the different forms of scams and help them prevent falling for online fraud.
